Informative first hand knowledge Jul 23, 2010

This is a book written from first hand knowledge of the author and his experience. Reading the entire book there is a wealth of information and is what it is titled but does not, as the other reviewer states, provide part numbers (which are worthless anyway in most cases) or official part names but it is totally unnecessary for the concept of the book.
Important to note, I bought my copy a few years ago direct from the author who was a pleasure to deal with and helpful. Also very important to note due to the time of publication there is very little in there covering Evolution engine models and nothing on then uninvented Twin Cam models. IT covers Panhead, Knucklehead, and Shovelhead era bikes only.
Whatn fits what on Harley Davidson, 1936 thru 1981 Nov 09, 2009
By R. Nusbaum At no fault to the author, this book wasn't quite what I expected. But it's a nice addition to my book collection. My expections were it would list parts by name, year, model and part number, and then list what other models it would fit without modification. For the information that the author does supply, its easy to follow and I would still recommend this book because you never know when it might come in handy.
