Works Mar 18, 2010
By K. Larsen They do work, but for some applications the included bolts are too short.
I had to go buy my own.
And, they are a little short for some bags as well.

universal brackets Jul 03, 2010
By Lynn Whittaker I just installed the brackets on a Suzuki 250 with a set of saddleman brackets. I used a pipe repair bracket to mount the back arm so I didn't have to drill any holes. It looks like its going to hold the saddlebags out far enough to avoid any contact with moving parts. As in other reviews, the brackets aren't long enough to do a good job in holding out the saddlebag, but with a solid side saddlebag they will work.

Saddle bags supports Mar 29, 2011

These were just what I was looking for. They fit perfectly and do their job well. Very good value.
Good quality, but not good for a 2007 Yamaha RoadStar Apr 01, 2011
By Joshua R. Garvin I installed these saddlebag supports on my 2007 Yamaha RoadStar and had two problems. First off, I have a factory installed backrest and luggage rack. The supplied bolts were the same length of those that came with the bike and were not long enough to attach the supports to the bike. After purchasing the appropriate length bolts from Lowes, they would've worked great...except for the second problem I had. The left support bar collides with the belt cover when going over the smallest bump in the road. My suggestion is this: if you have a 2007 Yamaha RoadStar, don't buy these supports.

Buenos soportes a buen precio. May 30, 2011
