Written by Jean Davidson (the granddaughter of Walter Davidson, one of the founders and first president of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company), My Daddy Makes The Best Motorcycle In The Whole Wide World - The Harley-Davidson is a children's picturebook celebrating the usefulness and versatility of the motorcycle - which policemen, firefighters, and American soliders overseas put to good use as surely as private citizens. Friendly-themed color illustrations by Theresa Hammerquist show the special bond between parent and child, in this enjoyable, simple story especially for motorcycle enthusiast families.
Of all the gifts a child can have, literacy is the one that can never be outgrown.

This book has the hallmarks of a classic in children's literature.The characteristics that deem this book suitable for that category; It is contemporary. It embraces social values that are ideal for establishing comfortable social roles for young ones who are emerging in their gender identities. It is gender neautral and does not engage in any language that coaches politically correct behavior.The book is 12" x 9" and opened spans 24". This design makes the book suitable for reading to groups of children who gather close around the reader and muse the illustrations as they listen. The books subtle theme embraces the "Spirit of Freedom" riders of the Harley enjoy as a group mentality. It validates the subculture associated with the Harley with clean references and no stereotypes. Please Harley- bring on a series like this!!!
