Better than expected Feb 18, 2009 I have to admit that I really did not expect this lamp to look as good as it does in our living room. Intentionally we wanted to place it in a spare bedroom but ended up putting it in the main living area because we like it so much. When I first took the lamp out of the box I thought it would look kind of cheap because what looks like metal/chrome is actually plastic, but once put up, the lamp looks great! Especially when just using it as an accent light or night light. It adds a lot of interest to any room and looks actually pretty classy. Would buy again in a second.
