Great Bolt On Power Apr 28, 2011
By Robert D Great Investment. Installed mine in about 30 minutes, taking my good ole time. My bike seems to run smoother and can get a little more out of each gear before shifting. Haven't had bike out more than 4 hrs since installation, but my 2009 Softail Heritage Classic certainly behaves more civilly and powerfully. I had my bike serviced at 1000 miles and throttle response was flat afterward(currently 1600mi) That is gone, my bike runs happier, it doesnT act starved any more! THat makes me all warm and tingly. This is flat out a must have. It runs very smooth so I am going to conclude No dyno required. I purchased the unit under $130. It just doesn't come with the K&N beauty ring.
Next are pipes and tuner.
Only con is that it protrudes a little bit but got used to it after a short time.

Better than Screamin eagle performance filter. Feb 21, 2011
By Adam S. Travis
"Hell Knight Hicks"
Well designed.
Obvious performance gains.
Cons: This large filter/bracket will touch your leg when ridding a road king classic.
Prolly need to have your computer re-tuned to throw a little more fuel in. But such goes with any positive modification.

Great product Apr 21, 2011
By Shawn Widman Pretty easy to install with the good directions provided. I combined with Vance and Hines Fuel Pak and slash oval pipes. I estimate about a 15-20 HP increase. I highly recommend!

More HP Apr 11, 2011
By Ryan Smith K&N says installing this product will add up to 12HP. I'm inclined to believe that. No, I'm not a drag racer and haven't put it on the dyno, but the size difference alone between this filter and stock is ridiculous! And getting on an onramp?!? Forget about it! My Harley jumps to 80 like nobody's business now, while as before, not that it was slow, but you'd have to put the spurs in her ass. Install was easy too.
