3Disappointed . . .  Dec 02, 2010
By Lana
I first saw these boots at my local motorcycle store, and I fell in love with them. They're offered in both black and white. I bought the black. They're actually riding boots, not the stylish after-riding sort that don't offer any real ankle support.

The Good:

1. They are stylish, yet insanely comfortable.
2. Don't be deceived by the pretty look of them -- they also hold up well as riding boots. I wore them for an entire riding season, day after day. They're comfortable, warm, and kept my feet dry.
3. They actually offer fairly good protection. I once wrecked my bike and twisted my ankle horribly. I unzipped the boot, saw that my ankle was already starting to swell up, and zipped it shut. For the next 6 hours, I stayed on my feet while we fixed my bike up enough for the 3 hour ride home. 9 hours after twisting my ankle, I was finally able to take off my boot. My husband was shocked and horrified at how swollen and discolored my ankle was -- but he was impressed at how well the boot had supported my ankle, to the point that he'd had no clue how badly twisted it was until I removed it.

The Bad:

1. It was really hard to find an accurate size. I am normally between a U.S. Women's size 8.5 or 9. The store had to order three different sizes for me, and I ended up purchasing a 10.5 . . . I have never before run into such a vast discrepancy between my normal shoe size and my motorcycle boots.
2. I purchased these boots around Spring 2009. They cost me nearly $300 at the time (they were pretty new to the stores). The zipper tabs broke within 6 months -- I had to replace them with the little metal hoops from a keychain. Still looked cute. Then in the early winter of 2010 (around Jan/ Feb), the seam of the upper toe connecting the boot to the sole split. Completely unwearable.

It's extremely frustrating -- these are killer, gorgeous boots, made by a well-known and respectable company. They cost a ton of money, and one would hope they would last for years. Instead, they're useless in less than a year. The cruddy pleather boots I bought at Famous Footwear in 2007 have outlasted these things. Heck, my chucks outlast these things.

4ICON W BOMBSHELL BOOT (BLACK)  May 21, 2011
By Queen
I have and am still using this pair of boots and i am so proud of it! It is very comfortable and very fashionable (this is a very serious plus!!!!)
I would be looking at ordering another pair soon and would like to request for higher heels! Is that possible?.....as this seems to be the only RIDING boot design that really considers female riders being fashionable RIDERS! The length is also perfect with goood leather. It is very comfortable to use even in our tropical humid weather here!

5Shoe Girl Loves Them!  Apr 11, 2012
By Jennifer
I love shoes and have several pairs of black boots, however none of them are actual motorcycle boots. I was looking for the perfect boot to round out my protective gear. I hated all of the other motorcycle boots I was finding. I know women riders are tough and all, but I still wanted to look like a girl. My husband and I discussed my boots at length. His requirements were that they be absolutely safe and have all the bells and whistles of the ugly boots. My requirements were far more shallow. I just wanted a hot pair of boots that would let me touch the ground while sitting on my bike. After begging and pleading and reading hundreds of reviews all over the web, I convinced him to buy them for me. When they arrived I was thrilled. They're even more amazing in person! He was impressed with all of the extra support and protection where I needed it and it passed his safety requirements. The only issue I had with the boot was that I have large, muscular calves and they were a little snug. I just loosened up the buckles and wore long socks the first few times. The first time I wore these boots to ride in was at my motorcycle training class to get my license. I wore them for eight hours straight. That first day was a little rough, but I had to put them on the next day for another straight 8 hours. Since that initial stretch of time in the boots I have had no issues. They feel great, the look great and they've protected my lower legs when I dropped my bike. (I was scraped and bruised pretty well where the peg hit my leg, but the scraping and bruising stopped at the top of the boot, even though the peg hit me all the way down.) I feel safe and comfortable in them and I refuse to ride in anything else!

3Have calves? The dont buy these.  Mar 06, 2012
By G. Hillenbrand "GiaBottini"
I also had to return and get a different size. They run extremely small. BUT - the leg goes right up and doesnt account for an actual calf muscle. I couldnt even get it up without zipping my skin - that was without a sock too....no way a sock would fit in there...returned.
