I've given this 2x --to an adult vizsla and an akita puppy who LOVE it! It's a classic hit with the owners, too. Sounds just like a Harley starting up, yet volume is low enough that it doesn't annoy, like a squeaky toy would. It's more a humming sound that entertains the dog and amuses the owner softly in the background.

My springer spaniel LOVES this bone. She will come running whenever she hears the motor sound. Then she walks around with it in her mouth, occasionally biting down to make the motor run again. After a period of time protecting "her" bone, I will put it away for another day. I have two other dogs, and my spaniel won't let them touch this particular toy. My poodle destroyed the motor box in the first bone I purchased, but I found the current one at Amazon and it was much cheaper. After I checked out the two bones, I was excited to find they were exactly alike. My spaniel never knew her first one was damaged!

Compared to the boring squeeky toys this is too much fun. Great to throw in with the Harley gear for a biking trip when you can't bear to leave the best friend behind.
