Harley-Davidson Drag Racing Jan 24, 2011
By James Milsted A good book on HARLEY-DAVIDSON DRAG RACING. Plenty of pictures with captions. A little history of AHDRA, the group that runs and sanctions the races. Would have liked to have seen a list of NATIONAL RECORDS both 1/8th & 1/4 mile and who set them. Also would have liked to have seen a list of NATIONAL CHAMPIONS over the years. Lastly race results of their races. If you write a book about history how could you leave these items out ? As an OLD SCHOOL MOTORCYCLE DRAG RACER I would have liked to have seen this included. I know alot of records would have been reset by the time the book was published, but it would have been correct at the time of printing. What better way to thank those that support this sport to have their names printed for all to see. Also the sponsors. So that there will still be races and racers in the future. Over all I liked the book and glad I bought it.

By Jeffery A. Stevens Harley-Davidson Drag Racing nicely covers the recent history of the All Harley Drag Racing Association, descriptions of the different classes and racer profiles. Excellent photography of a wide range of Harley drag bikes as well as photos of competitors, fans and racing action. Nitro burning Top Fuel Harleys to street legal ET bikes and everything in between.
